Early Life
Oluwatosin Olaseinde was born to the family of the Olaseinde. Born on the 17th of December, she is the first of the two children born to her parents.


Personal Life
Oluwatosin Olaseinde is a financial literacy expert who runs two financial services companies, Money Africa and Ladda. She spent most of her secondary education in a boarding house as both her parents stayed abroad. Tosin Olaseinde enjoys writing on all things finance, she also takes her spiritual life seriously. She is the first child of her parents’ children and her younger sibling is Faith Olaseinde who is the Chief Operations Officer at Money Africa. Tosin Olaseinde is passionate about children, economic empowerment and poverty alleviation.
Education
Oluwatosin Olaseinde began her secondary school education at Queen’s College, Yaba, Lagos in 1988 and graduated in the year 2004. She proceeded to write Cambridge A level examination in 2005 at Greenwich College. In 2006, she began her studies in Accounting. There, she was actively involved in extracurricular that ended up building her readiness for the path she has chosen. She was a member of the prestigious Golden Key International Honour Society as well as the Economic Society of the University. She graduated in 2008, obtaining a Bachelor of Commerce (bComm) degree from the University.
She studied and wrote her CTA exams (BCompt.) at the University of South Africa in 2009, with a focus on accounting, financial management, finance and taxation. She became a certified chartered accountant in 2013 after studying and writing the ACCA exams.


Career
In 2009, Oluwatosin Olaseinde’s career began with working for Crowe Horwath International – Global Corporate Advisors, Johannesburg area, as a senior auditor. It was during this period that she wrote her CTA exams at the University of South Africa and passed at the first attempt. After working for the company as a senior auditor for three years, she continued to CNBC Africa, Lagos in 2012 where she contested as a top trader contestant and later worked for the company in 2013 as a financial reporter/researcher. In that same year, she went ahead to work for Phoenix Global Capital and worked as a financial analyst for a year and seven months.
In 2015, she became a senior financial analyst while working for Bloomberg TV Africa. She worked there for eleven months and moved to British American Tobacco where she got the position of Commercial Financial Manager for West Africa Markets.
In October 2018, she founded her company, Money Africa, an Edtech and financial literacy platform. She also co-founded Ladda.ng and took up the position of Chief Financial Officer for Money Africa kids.
